Designing rehearsal rooms without theatrics

Rehearsal rooms need quiet lighting, visible agendas, and a single facilitator who stops hero answers. We print question routes so participants know who speaks first on infrastructure versus product topics.

We also script breaks. Fatigue produces speculative answers. A twenty-minute break every ninety minutes is non-negotiable for full-day rehearsals.

After each block, we capture follow-ups on a wall everyone can photograph. Photography replaces proprietary tools that might leak access. The wall is low-tech and inclusive for hybrid participants.

The last paragraph is limitation disclosure: rehearsals cannot predict every question. They reduce surprise, not eliminate it. Teams should still expect novel requests and route them calmly to counsel.
